Come along to improve your fitness, increase flexibility, manage minor injuries and conditions such as sciatica, lower back pain, or stiffness in the body. Or join because you’re looking for new ways to relieve feelings of anxiety, boost low self- esteem, increase mood and improve your overall wellbeing. 

Avec Lou classes use a mixture of hatha yoga, functional movement, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation to make you feel better. Magic.

Yes. Avec Lou offers classes suitable for beginners and mixed abilities. So if you’ve never done yoga before, come along and try a class. 

Yoga mats, and equipment including straps, blocks and blankets are all provided. The  equipment is sterilised and cleaned before and after class.

Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga. A class traditionally includes asanas (postures), pranayama (breath) and meditation. All these elements come together to help find a steadiness and ease in your body as you discover a deeper awareness of your mind, body and soul.

If we break down the meaning of Hatha Yoga: Ha =  Sun, Tha =  Moon. Hatha yoga uses a variety of breathwork, postures and sequences to bring both the energies of the sun and the moon, the left and the right to create balance within the body.
